Shy Perry
Hey My Musical Friends'
I have spent a lot of time trying to get my website together and I finally did (wipes brow). It's taken so long because I had to take the pictures twice (rolls eyes). Then I had problems getting my website online (frowns) and having ads on it (scowls).
But I'm OK now cause It's All Good! And the site looks pretty good so make sure you check it out (happy twinkle in eyes).
Everything is going great with my album and my mom, dad and I have sold quite a few. But I will have it online (hopefully) soon. We're still crossing the T's, dotting the I's, whatever, but it will be online definitely! And the Chasing My Dreams tour is going to happen slowly, but surely. We had a great rehearsal yesterday on my songs and Winnee the Winnebago is at the hospital/mechanic getting her wires fixed. Lol! Sometimes things don't happen when you want it, but when it does happen, it's right on time.

MISSISSIPPI ARTS COMMISSION FOLK ARTS FELLOWSHIP GRANT AND A
FOLK ARTS APPRENTICESHIP GRANT
BILL HOWL-N-MADD PERRY RECEIVES TWO GRANTS
MISSISSIPPI ARTS COMMISSION FOLK ARTS FELLOWSHIP GRANT AND A
FOLK ARTS APPRENTICESHIP GRANT
Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry of Abbeville, Mississippi has been awarded a $4,500 grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC). This grant is a portion of the $1.27 million in grants the Commission awarded in 2013/2014. The grants are made possible by continued funding from the Mississippi State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. He was also awarded a $2000 Folk Arts Apprenticeship Grant.
**This grant will help enable my dad and I to pursue the "Chasing My Dreams" tour this summer promoting my new CD titled “Shy” as well as Howl-N-Madd's CD “The Clarksdale Sessions”**

"Howl-N-Madd, Mississippi Blues Family Man."
It's the story of his life and how he has passed the blues down to a new generation especially his kids. ;) He is definitely my hero and inspiration. My family and I are in the movie. I think we'll have some nice, funny scenes in this movie and I can't wait for them to finish it!!

Hello My Musical Friends!
I had an amazing morning! I woke up and immediately tuned into WEFT.com and I heard 2 of my songs right away! Dave Wright is so cool! He played "The No Song (Women Revolt)" and "Devil Child." You talk about happy! I was running around like I was nuts!
Yesterday, dad and I performed live in the studio @ Weft 90.1 fm in Champaign, IL for Daves' Blues Tuesday. We really had a great time and I sung 3 songs from my album. We also prerecorded some songs that Dave will play soon! Thank you so much, Dave! I wish I could bear hug you!!!

Hello My Musical Friends',
The Perry family has a busy week ahead. Tomorrow, we are going to pick up the Limited Edition CDs for my new album. I'm just on pins and needles and I can't wait! I've been waiting for this day for a long time. We only had 150 made until we get the regular CDs back, so if you want a copy, let me know before they are G-O-N-E!

We're playing for a private party Wednesday in Merigold at Po' Monkey's, June 5th. Po' Monkey's is a world famous, for real juke joint and I've always enjoyed playing there. Right after the gig, we're heading straight to Chi-Town, Chicago, IL that is, for the Chicago Blues Fest.
We're playing Friday, June 7th, from 3-4pm.
I'm very excited about it. Not only are there going to be thousands of people at the Chicago festival but my entire family is going to be there. And I have a Huge family. Very exciting! I know we're going to sell a lot of my CDs and I'm looking forward to people hearing my songs.

Phade To Black
Phade To Black has been all over the place. These handsome guys- Silas Reed, Demetrious Brown, Zack Tollison, Charles Washington and my talented brother, Bill Perry, Jr. have a steady gig at Proud Larry's in Oxford, MS this summer and you can catch them tonight, jammin' away! I really like their sound. They are very unique and have original songs on their line-up.

Hey My Musical Friends!
A lot has been going on with me and I love it! It's great staying busy and just this past week, I've probably traveled about 500 miles, just in Mississippi. And I love to drive, so it works out.
Today, my dad, The Legendary Howl-N-Madd and I will be heading to Studio 61 in Leland, MS to order the Limited Edition CDs. We're only making 150 of these and we're going to sell-out, there's no doubt. My mom is an amazing saleslady. Since maybe 1997, mom has sold literally thousands of CDs from her hand. Master saleslady!
We'll be playing at Po' Monkey's June 5th, then we're going to jam all the way to the Chicago Blues Fest, June7th. We are going to play from 3-4pm, but at 1:30pm, Howl-N-Madd will speak and answer questions at the Southwest Blues Lounge. It's going to be a lot of fun!
I'm going to update my website soon. I'll keep you posted!
