Bill Perry, Jr.

Bill Perry, Jr. is at it again, but really, he never stops.  Music is always swirling around in his head one way or the other.  Bill's new album, Phantom available on iTunes, has been getting a lot of good reviews.  In the new Oxford paper, The Local Voice,  there is an article out about Bill and his new album Phantom by Wallace Lester and he wrote, "The flow of the album is excellent.  All the instrumental tracks lead up the spooky, intergalactic closer "Operation X (Love Takes Over Me)," where Mr. Perry incants lyrics between dark layers of sound and rhythm.  [Phantom] seems to come from the future."
For me, Enough Said!

Bill Perry, Jr. had an interview with The Oxford Sessions that gave a history of his life, his influences and even his favorite shows.  Get in-depth with Bill at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65mp2fG1NJ0&sns=fb
You can also see Bill perform two of my all-time favorite songs called Gangster Jazz and JoLynnGangster Jazz has a nice bounce to it and the time signature will keep you on your toes.  And JoLynn is a song that Bill wrote for his beautiful girlfriend, JoLynn.  It has a romantic melody and the jazz piano chords are uplifting.  It's a lovely song to play for your better half on a nice, lovely evening.
You can see Bill Perry, Jr. perform those songs at
