We Did It Again! 

The Music Zone has had 2057 pageviews in 4 months!  Since The Music Zone has taken on a life of it's own,  I'll let you know when we reach 5000 pageviews.  I didn't know what to expect when I first started The Music Zone, but was pleased to see on the first day there were 66 pageviews.  I hoped this blog would reach many people, but it's went beyond my expectations.  Music Lovers' from all around the world wanted to know about local musicians, singers, and DJ's.  There were views from USA, Russia, France, Greece, Germany, UK, Canada, Israel, South Korea, and Jamaica!  Pretty Amazing, right?!  To me, it shows that Music Lovers' are looking for more than what the main stream record companies are pushing.  Don't get me wrong-  I like Ciara, Jay-Z, Coldplay, etc., but I believe artists' like my dad Howl-N-Madd, my brother Bill Perry, Jr., Alina Smith, Damien Wash, Lighting Malcolm, Joe Eagle, Frank "Guitar Man" Rimmer, DJ Hush, Walt Busby, Oso Negro, (Me!) and Many, Many More are just as good, or even Better in a lot of cases and I'm willing to dance my way through to let it be heard! 

We Are Here To Stay, Baby! 

With merging record labels like Universal and EMI taking the lions share of the music market (and money), it leaves many really talented artists' out in the cold.  I know The Music Zone is a small step to getting an artists' name "out there", but we have shown that small steps lead to Big Things and I'm Proud that we have stood up for All Music Makers'/Lovers'.
