My Madd-Talented dad, Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry, has some fantastic news to pass along. Not only has he been giving me expert advice for my New Album and many, many hours of rehearsal, his own album, The Clarksdale Sessions, has been making some fantastic musical strides.
Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry's, The Clarksdale Sessions, has advanced to the Second Round of the 2013 contest for Best Self-Produced CD according to news from the Blues Foundation regarding the International Blues Challenge Best Self-Produced CD Contest. www.blues.org
The Clarksdale Sessions was submitted for consideration by The Mississippi Delta Blues Society of Indianola. Thank you Indianola Blues Society members and friends!! http://indianolablues.org/

Like the IBC itself, the BSPCD appears to be going global as ten of the semi-finalists hail from outside of the United States. These will be pared to five finalists with the winner being announced on Saturday, February 2 at the Orpheum Theater during the 29th IBC finals.
