According to one of Gary's website's
The Clarksdale Soundstage is a state of the art film
and recording facility located smack dab on the spot where WC Handy once lived,
birthplace of the blues.
The big room touts a 300 square foot fully lighted
stage, 23 foot ceiling and world class acoustics. The control room offers a
fully digital Yamaha DM 2000 board, computers custom designed by Intel Corp. and
built by PC Audio Labs for the ultimate in audio recording. The control room’s
acoustics were designed by Norbert Putnam.
There are six Isolation booths , a
number of vintage amps, mics, and an
eclectic assortment of guitars. (Let’s not forget the Hammond A 100 organ and
it’s Leslie 147 speakers with groove tubes).
The Clarksdale Soundstage with it’s
five bedrooms and home cooking offers a “come hang with the fam”
feel
recording experience unique to itself. Come on down to the
crossroads… It nice…..
