The Perry Family

The Countdown is On for Howl-N-Madd, Bill Perry, Jr. and Me, Sharo Perry, for our amazing adventure first to Toledo, Ohio, and then we're headed on up to The Big Apple, NYC, baby!  I love NY and lived there for 5 years, so in a way, I'm headed back to one of my hometowns.  Our Musical Journey will first take us to the celebration of the MV Blues at Homecoming 2012. They will be joined by classmates, friends and former teachers for a Blues-Themed weekend of great music, good food and fond memories, September 28-30, 2012.

I hope you and a million other people show up because you don't want to miss the premiere of "True Delta," a documentary about the Mississippi Delta Blues, produced by Erickson Blakney '83 with the "True Delta Project" photography exhibit by Micheal Scanlan and a live music performance by legendary blues musician, Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry.

Right after that, The Perry Family is heading to NYC to play at the renowned-blues club Terra Blues in Greenwich Village Sept. 29th, 2012.  Howl-N-Madd, Bill Perry, Jr., and I have played Terra Blues so much, we're a mainstay and we feel honored to be a part of the music scene in NYC.  And it's just the beginning...
